Terms of Service

1. General Terms These Terms of Service govern your use of Finntreats.NYT and purchases made through our online store. By placing an order, you agree to these terms.

2. Products We sell candy boxes and confectionery products. Product descriptions, images, and prices are provided as accurately as possible, but we do not guarantee that they are error-free. We reserve the right to correct errors and update information.

3. Pricing and Payment

  • All prices are in euros (EUR) and include VAT
  • We accept payment methods displayed at checkout
  • Payment is processed securely through Shopify's payment system
  • Prices are subject to change without notice

4. Orders and Order Confirmation

  • When you place an order, you will receive an order confirmation via email
  • We reserve the right to refuse or cancel orders in cases of product unavailability, pricing errors, or suspected fraud
  • An order is binding once you receive an order confirmation

5. Product Availability Products are subject to availability. If a product becomes unavailable after you place an order, we will notify you and offer a refund or alternative product.

6. Age Restriction You must be at least 18 years old to place an order. By ordering, you confirm that you meet this age requirement.

7. Shipping and Delivery

  • Shipping terms are detailed in our Shipping Policy
  • Risk of loss and title for products pass to you upon delivery to the carrier
  • We are not responsible for delays caused by shipping carriers or customs

8. Returns and Refunds Due to the perishable nature of our food products, we do not accept returns of opened or consumed items except in cases of defective or damaged products. Please refer to our Refund Policy for details.

9. Product Quality and Food Safety

  • All products are packaged according to food safety standards
  • Products may contain allergens - please check product descriptions carefully
  • We are not liable for allergic reactions or health issues resulting from consumption
  • Products should be consumed before the expiration date

10. Temperature-Sensitive Products Chocolate and candy products may melt during warm weather. We take precautions in packaging, but cannot guarantee products will not melt during summer months (June-August). By ordering during these months, you accept this risk.

11. Limitation of Liability We are liable for damages only in cases of intent or gross negligence. Our liability is limited to the order value. We are not liable for indirect damages or consequential losses.

12. Privacy Your personal data is processed according to our Privacy Policy and EU GDPR regulations.

13. Intellectual Property All content on our website, including images, text, and logos, is our property or used with permission. You may not use our content without written permission.

14. Applicable Law These terms are governed by Finnish law. Disputes will be resolved in Finnish courts. EU consumers have the right to use the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform.

15. Changes to Terms We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
